Talks & Events

Entertaining – Informative – Practical – Inspirational

Offering a range of topics that appeal to all levels of experience and interest, Sue’s talks are packed with ideas and advice. Every talk is illustrated with pictures from her extensive library and accompanied by handouts detailing the key points and plants featured throughout. Presentations are usually rounded off with a question and answer session on any aspect of gardening. Sue supplies all her own equipment: all that’s needed is the venue and the audience! Charges vary according to distance: please get in touch for a no-commitment price.

Sue also offers practical demonstrations which are ideal for outdoor venues in daytime – such as garden shows – where Powerpoint talks aren’t suitable. Demonstrations can be given at indoor venues too.

“I’ve had some lovely feedback about last night. You were a joy, and so knowledgeable and relaxed. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed your presentation. Thank you for such a delightful evening”. Dulverton Gardening Club
“Many thanks for your most informative talk. Everyone was impressed with your charming presentation style, your knowledge, the quality of your photographs, and the host of hints and tips.  On top of this, you kindly brought a hand-out of the names of the plants illustrated in your talk and some care tips”. Yealm Gardens Society.

“Thank you very much for your splendid presentation yesterday evening and for talking to lots of members.  We have had much positive feedback. You are now level with Joe Swift as having the highest attendance we have ever had! “Henleaze Gardening Club.

“Thank you so much for your interesting and informative talk on exotic plantings on Friday.
A number of members said how much they had enjoyed it and how good it was, and some came as a one off especially to hear you”. Budleigh Salterton Gardening Club.
